POLITICS VS. RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION
A recent story out of France stated that President Nicolas Sarkozy is pushing for an all-out-ban on full Islamic veils. There has been world wide criticism and outcry from Muslims. "Ridiculous" and "misplaced" to comments of "Racism" were some of the views expressed by Muslims.
Have we become so paranoid and security elevated that we are willing to violate and desecrate religious rituals and traditions.
How do you feel about these developments? Should public security take priority over religious freedom?
